Acne can be one of the worst nightmares for teenagers at times, especially if it’s added with scars all over the face. It usually appears when an individual reaches puberty and may last till the age of around 25 to 30. These are a natural process where it is a result of natural body repair to the skin. There are two types where one would be the raised scars and the other would be the depressed acne scars. Raised acne scars usually form in individuals who develop keloids which is the growth of tissue in that particular area where there was inflammation. Depressed scars are the most common where it is caused by loss of tissue at the acne site.
