My Miniature Pincher has pimples PLEASE HELP 10 points for best answer?
I live in Phuket Thailand and I have a miniature Pincher. she has these like pimples all over her body. I have taken her to the vet and they say she might be allergic to something? well that could be a million things! so has anyone heard of this and does anyone know of some treatment I could try?
It’s called Miliary Dermatitis and it’s cause by an allergy. You can start by changing her food to a single protein diet (so only one meat, chicken or fish or lamb but not chicken and lamb) and get a high quality kibble that is mostly or completely grain free. I don’t know what kinds of food you have available in Thailand to give you any suggestions.
Switch her food and have your vet give her a steroid shot to help her skin heal.
