BEST ANSWER 10 POINTS!!! Inner corner of eye red/swollen (the pink area)?
I wear makeup, revlon colorstay eyeliner and ive been using it for 2 years and this hasnt happened but now it has and its been like a month since its been red/swollen do u think it might be the eyeliner i also wear maybelline great lash mascara and revlon colorstay foundation i just started using the mascara and foundation and do u think its infected? I can see fine. Is it a stye like can the stye be inside the eye..its not on my lower/top eyelid its inside my eye
Could be an allergy to your eye makeup. If there is a lump, it could be a stye inside the eye lid. Stop using the eye makeup and throw it away. Don’t start using any products again until after it clears up or you will have the same problem and you’ll just be wasting your product and money. If it is an infection, by continuing to use the makeup you will just keep introducing the germs to your eye. When you stop using the makeup, if it clears up it may just have been an allergy. Try and keep your hands away from your eyes as well.

My work is really dry and dusty and ever since I’ve been working there my skin and eyes have always been itchy and red, and now i’ve woken up with swollen pig eyes…I was planning on going to a medicentre to see if its an eye stye or an allergic reaction. Is this a valid excuse to call into work for? I work at wal-mart! They didn’t let me leave to watch kids for my sister when she needed it, and made me come in, in the winter the next day after my sick day from the flu!
p.s–I need this part-time job to pay for my tuition, so I can’t just up and quit, becuase they actually give me the limited hours I need.

Well considering you need the job my guess would be that if it is really bad ring work and go to the Dr’s today. And make sure to get a Dr certificate. Whenever I am working any where dusty or even mowing the yard or whatever I carry a pack of saline drops on me. My eyes flare up all the time. This would mean you could still work but just will have to go to the bathroom to flush out your eyes. And take a few minutes until they return to nearly normal and then you should be ok. If mine are really bad I use to little vials. Go to the chemist and in the section where eye drops are they should have some there. Good luck. I know what it’s like.
